The W. Ross and Amilee Phillips Scholarship is awarded yearly to any first-time Masters of Arts Degree applicant.
Scholarship Criteria
Recipient shall be in their first year at the Graduate School
Preference shall be given to students with financial need
(e.g. African-American, Hispanic, American-Indian)
OR
Plans to enter ministry among the poor in America
(e.g. the urban homeless and poor, the rural Southern poor)
Award Amount
One time award of $3500 to $4500 (amount is in addition to the Wheaton grant).
Application Process
All applicants interested in receiving this scholarship must indicate so on the admissions application, plus submit a one-page essay (300-500 words) explaining why they are a good candidate for this scholarship, and complete the FAFSA.
